Azelaic Acid and Your Skin 

Azelaic Acid is an organic compound Acid found in grains like barley or wheat. It is a gentle exfoliant which is far easier on the skin surface than other acids such as Glycolic or Salicylic. As well as being antimicrobial and a skin smoothing exfoliant, Azelaic Acid’s  anti-inflammatory character makes it effective in treating sensitive, reactive skin.
